Minnesota Voting - Get Involved

First and foremost, encourage all the people in your life to vote. Make sure they are registered to vote, know what’s on their ballot and have a plan to vote.

Women Wednesdays for Harris - virtual meeting organized by Shannon Watts (founder of Moms Demand Action) and Indivisible National.

Doorknock and phone bank for candidates you care about:

  • DFL Victory 2024: Contact the campaign offices directly, or go to the party website to sign up for upcoming doorknocking, phonebanking, rally events. There are LOTS of events every week between now and the election and this is one of the most effective ways to turn out the vote.

  • Doorknock with Pro-Choice Minnesota to get pro-choice candidates elected so that we can maintain our Pro-choice majority in the MN House. They have events through end of October.

National Phone bank to other states

Join one of these phone banks to call voters in key states and districts, with Indivisible. Not phone banked before? No worries - each phone bank starts with a training.

Dates: Oct 1st, 7th, 15th, 28th.

Did you use your annual Political Contribution Refund yet?

When you donate to a political party or candidate running for MN state office, you'll get the first $75 ($150 for married couples) totally refunded to you! (It's gone up to $75 this year!) Yes, it's free money AND you're helping someone you believe in get elected to office!!

How it works:

  1. Send your contribution directly to the candidate via their website.

  2. Your candidate’s treasurer will send you a contribution receipt and Political Contribution Refund application form in the mail.

  3. Complete the PCR application form and mail it to the Minnesota Department of Revenue with the contribution receipt. You'll receive a refund check in the mail or direct deposit, whichever you want.

To qualify for the Minnesota PCR program, you must:

  • be a United States citizen.

  • be 18 years old or more.

  • have lived in Minnesota for at least 20 days immediately before any 2024 statewide or local election in which you would be eligible to vote if you were registered.
