Special guest for the conversation will be Minnesota trail blazer Marlene Johnson, Minnesota's first female Lt. Governor who served from 1983 to 1991. A successful leader and outspoken advocate for international causes focusing on education, her memoir Rise to the Challenge: A Memoir of Politics, Leadership, and Love encapsulates her life--breaking political ground, navigating patriarchal tradition and persevering through great personal loss following her husband’s traumatic brain injury.

Musical guest is Follow the Firefly, (Phala Tracy, Scott Keever & Natalie Nowytski) an imaginative chamber pop trio with guitar, bass and harp. Their music includes female empowering singer-songwriter originals, musical haikus and traditional music from Eastern Europe. 

The guest storyteller Aamera Siddiqui is an actor, playwright, Co-Artistic Director of Exposed Brick Theatre and an Equity, Diversity & Inclusion professional. She will share her experiences with those questioning her resume in the extremely timely The Perks of Being a Diversity Hire. 

Plus actor/writer Dae Yang, singer/songwriter Zippy Laske and host Sue Scott.
