12/20/24: Saint Paul, MN ---- Women's March MN announces The People’s March happening on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Minnesota Capitol in Saint Paul. They are following in the footsteps of the 2017 March when more than 100,000 Minnesotans marched in response to Donald Trump's first Presidential inauguration. The inspiration this year is “Fired Up? Follow Up!” People will march in solidarity and to learn about what they can do personally to support and protect women’s rights, immigrants’ rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and justice for all in Minnesota.

The People’s March leadership says, “The freedoms of our families, friends and neighbors are once more under threat, and we must boldly come together to show our collective strength. We will send a clear and unmistakable message to the incoming administration: We will NOT go back!”

Building on the Women's March Minnesota movement, plans include a march to the Minnesota State Capitol and a rally. Partners from local nonprofit and social service organizations working to protect us on issues such as reproductive, civil, transgender, and voting rights and more will talk about what is happening and what is needed in the community.

Women’s March MN is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization with a mission to harness the power of community to create transformative social change. Visit womensmarchmn.com for updates.
