Help WMM to #FlipTheMNSenate

We are so proud of Alicia Donahue and Jackie Craig, our colleagues and former leaders in Women’s March MN. Both are formidable, forward-thinking, hard-working women who are dedicated to improving their communities and indeed our whole state.

They are part of a wave folks are calling #FlipTheMNSenate, and while we support several campaigns that we are hoping will flip, we will cheer loudest for our dear friends when they win! 

· Alicia Donahue - SD54 (Shakopee, Jordan). Founding member of Women’s March Minnesota.

· Jackie Craig - SD57 (Lakeville, Elko New Market). Former volunteer and board member of Women’s March Minnesota.

#FlipTheMNSenate

Minnesota is the only state in the country with a split Legislature - the House is controlled by one party (DFL) and the Senate by another (GOP). This makes it very difficult to get bills passed in both chambers and to get progressive legislation passed into law. So, this election we’re focusing our efforts on flipping the MN Senate. 

We’ve identified 4 additional races that we believe will help #FlipTheMNSenate and we’re actively working to support all these candidates in these MN Senate races: 

  • Heather Gustafson - SD36 (White Bear Lake, Vadnais Heights, Lino Lakes, Centerville, North Oaks)

  • Kelly Morrison – SD45 (St. Bonafacius, Minnetrista, Long Lake, Wayzata, Spring Park, Greenwood, Excelsior)

  • Kari Rehrauer - SD35 (Coon Rapids/Anoka)

  • Judy Seeberger - SD41 (Cottage Grove/Hastings/Lake Elmo -- St. Croix Valley)
